Официалният плакат за тазгодишните Оскари вече е официално представен. Той се състои основно от най-култовите думи и фрази от филмите печелили Наградата на Академита от 1936 до 2005 г.

Концепцията и дизайнът на постера са дело на лосанджелиската рекламна агенция TBWA/Chiat/Day, а фотографът Алберт Уотсън (Albert Watson) е заснел статуетката на плаката. Постерът е решен в черно, като надписите са направени със златно мастило и всеки един от тях е с различен шрифт.

"Фразите, които са върху плаката са се превърнали в част от ежедневната реч и можете да ги чуете в разговор, на среща, на купон, докато се разхождате по улицата", обяснява президента на Академията за филмово изкуство и наука Сид Ганис (Sid Ganis).
