Играта на Nintendo Mario Kart е шампион с номинации в 6 категории, докато ролевата игра The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion е номинирана в 5 категории, сред които за най-добра PC игра на годината, саундтрак на годината и най-велика игра на годината.
Любимата героиня Лара Крофт, която тази година навършва 10 години и се завърна с гръм и трясък с Tomb Raider: Legend е сред номинираните за най-любим герой от игра, заедно с Agent 47 (Hitman: Blood Money), Mario, Alyx Vance (Half-Life: Episode 1) и Принца на Персия от продължението на двуизмерната класика от 80-те години на миналия век.
